Anything Goes : Is Slated and Other Digital Platforms good places to Find Film Investment Opportunities? by Daron Jenkins

Are investors relying on these platforms more and more? If anyone here has found successful film projects on any of these platforms, which ones? If you haven't tried, why not? How are most investors (experienced and new to the game) finding projects? I'm trying to understand what questions still need answering (on both the traditional and digital route of financing) for this summer's NYCFF Film Summit (http://nycff2015.eventbrite.com/?aff=linkedgrps) so any feedback is helpful.
