Introduce Yourself : Filmmaker & Industry Program Manager @ILLUMINATE Film Fetival by Daniel DeVivo

HELLO ALL!! I first got hooked on filmmaking when I realized its potential for popular education and cross-cultural exchange. My first film, Crossing Arizona, was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival and recipient of the CINE Masters Series Award for excellence in documentary filmmaking. I followed up with, "Two Americans," which aired nationally on Al Jazeera America. As a former Fulbright Fellow, I'm grateful for the opportunity I had to work with filmmakers and journalists in Jordan at the onset of the Arab Spring. My current role as the Industry Program Manager of Illuminate Film Festival allows me to put my passion for impact filmmaking to good use.
