I've been here about a week now and have enjoyed reading your conversations and getting a feel for the site in general. I'm a new writer and though I don't have much in my portfolio, I do have big plans. I have my first script in a contest and even though I hear nobody sells their first script, I think I'm going to be an exception to that rule (don't we all in the beginning?). I've always wanted to be an author but becoming a screenwriter is a new dream (both are in the works). I'm currently in Missouri, working on my portfolio, taking it easy before my big move back home to California.
