Your Stage : Wish to Take on the Road - Worldwide, Stateside, Wherever Possible by Jennifer Koridze

My group has a dance musical, called: "GEORGIA - 8th WONDER OF THE WORLD” which I am seeking to launch. The story takes the audience through the political and cultural history of the Country of Georgia via continuous dance with accompanying music and song and with intermittent, active narration. It depicts the resilient spirit and nature of this ancient and incredible culture which remains intact despite its numerous threats and invasions of the past, and even of today. The illustrious performing group is GEORGIA-AMERICA ART BRIDGE ENSEMBLE of Batumi, Country of GEORGIA. They are directed by Temuri Koridze, an American-Georgian artist best known worldwide as the choreographer of and original soloist in CIRQUE DU SOLEIL's "VAREKAI" touring show's Georgian Dance Act, specially recruited by the show's director, Dominic Champagne. In addition to the above-mentioned show, this ensemble's thrilling body of works include short sword and shield fencing, dagger throwing, toe work and acrobatic feats executed by the men as well as gliding, ethereal grace and quick, intricate footwork and leaps from the women. Their repertoire, specially created for them by Temuri, offers some of the most stunning work seen from this region of the world.
