Hi all! I'm new to Stage 32, but am fast becoming hooked! I'm looking to reach out and build a network with anyone who's interested in what I do and anyone with a similar interest. I'm following my dream to become a screen writer and so far have two comedy screenplays written. I thought they were completed (after about ten re-writes each) but have recently read Keith Giglio's book on the subject and now realise they both require a complete overhaul! I don't have any formal training in writing, beyond a day spent at Raindance's seminar on screenwriting in London. I recently took a break to have a baby, but am really keen to get going again and move things forward! I look forward to making some connections and thanks for taking the time to read this!

Welcome Nerys! I'm also a newbie to screenwriting and learning as I go. You're certainly in the right place.

Great to hear from you all! Keith Giglio's book is called Writing The Comedy Blockbuster: The Inappropriate Goal. It's great for structure. I like Michael Hauge too. As soon as I've redrafted my scripts I'll upload them - would love some feedback, if anyone's interested! Happy to return the favour too!
