Introduce Yourself : Mystery Author with Popular Series about Geeks by Julie Moffett

Hi, everyone! I'm new to Stage 32, but am enjoying meeting and reading about the industry. I've thought about screenwriting, but am contracted for 4 more books through 2016, so that won't happen anytime soon. Still, it's a great chance for me to pop in and check things out. I'm working on the 8th book in my mystery series featuring geek girl extraordinaire, Lexi Carmichael, who gets mixed up in all kinds of tech mysteries as well as international intrigue. I've won numerous awards -- the PRISM, the EPIC, the HOLT, and the HOLT Merit Award for Best Book by a Virginia Author. I've also been nominated for the Daphne du Maurier Award and the Gayle Wilson Award of Excellence. One of the books in my mystery series has just been nominated for a Chanitcleer Agatha Christie Mystery and Mayhem Award to be announced in September. So, it's been a great ride so far!
