Performing Arts is a tremendous opportunity for people with special needs to experience enrichment and demonstrate that the arts have no boundaries! Since our founding in 2009, The TERI Players have grown from a group of 9 actors to 28, including support staff and wonderful volunteers. We are composing our own music and writing our own material for community performances, crafting our shows to highlight the abilities each actor brings to the stage. We communicate through music, movement, sign language, and spoken dialogue. Our actors love sharing their talents with the audience, and these shows have provided much needed education to the community at large that we are bound more by what we have in common than by our differences. We would love to have volunteers come to do workshops for us-- we welcome anyone! Make-up demos, pantomime, improv; you name it, we'd love to have you visit! I am including a link to a recent production. Please enjoy and share with others who also believe in the transformational power of performing arts. The TERI Players is part of a non-profit, TERI Inc., (ww.teriinc.org) in North San Diego County. Thank you for taking time to read this and getting to know us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AipBxACgE9s
