Hi, I've been writing a long time, just not screenwriting. Last year I took a 6 month course with Hal Crosier and the Screen Writing U Pro Series 51 and it was great. I'm working on 3 scripts (one is at a contest, one is being written in Final Draft and the 3rd is still pretty sketchy). I'll be looking for an agent maybe this year. I like to write and the idea of collaboration on a movie project just seems very exciting (and challenging). What I'm even newer at is social networking and these sites on the internet, but am trying to learn fast. Onward! Leslie Aguillard
Welcome!
Welcome Leslie. I'm a newbie as well to screenwriting after successfully publishing six books. I'd be happy to support you any way I can with social media tips. You're certainly in the right place.
hey Leslie, there's a place for older writers like us. I forget who said, "It is only with age that one understands the play." There are some stories that only a mature writer can tell. I believe there is a place for us!
Virginia, thank you; and Cali, I envy your publishing 6 books, thanks Kerry. I've published stories, articles, poems and then wrote little for a long time. I paint and draw mostly. Trying to appeal to a larger group is a difficult thing when I dislike having to go places and do stuff... (that's s'posed to be a joke).
Hey Dan, love the photo, especially the hat. Thanks for the welcome. I'm hoping I'll get the hang of the website stuff soon.
Hi Leslie! It's wonderful to have you here! :) I am one of six moderators on the site and we're here to help. So, please feel free to post in the Lounge and join the many conversations. If you have any questions about the site answers can be found under the "Help" link located in the upper right corner. I look forward to "seeing" you around. Welcome to Stage 32!
Welcome, Leslie :)

Leslie, I'm also going to move your post over to the "introduce yourself" section as it fits much better there. :) Best to you!
