Introduce Yourself : Watch, learn, do! by Charline Foch

Hi all! My name is Charline, I'm a French-born, Edinburgh-based student currently doing my MSc in Film, Exhibition and Curation. I have been drawn to the world of the film industry for the past few years but have never been able to make up my mind as to which part of the industry interests me most. My degree is taking me onto the exhibition side of things; but I believe that if you want to promote films ad support filmmakers effectively, you have to know what it's like to make one! Therefore, I got involved in the making of a short film as a prop-maker and runner and absolutely LOVED it. I joined this website in the hope of going a bit further in filmmaking, but I'm also hoping to discover your talents, your films, and do some networking and start exciting projects! All in all, I'm just really keen on learning and becoming a valuable, skilled professional who really knows what she's talking about ( and can put together a shorts programme as well as using a camera.
