Greetings! Great to be part of such a fine collective of creatives. Looking forward to learning more about Stage32 and you all! Velocity Media is a production and PR company.
Hi Peter - It is less about the genre and more about whether there is a powerful story, (can we catch your vision and do we find it compelling), is it marketable and most importantly is it funded and if not, do we think it can be. However, having said that, we enjoy action/thriller, drama - character driven, supernatural, comedy - but tend to stay away from slasher/horror, porn and the like. I should say we seldom take on unfunded projects, if the project is unfunded, we do consulting work on the build-out/producers package.
We're in pre-production on a microbudget paranormal comedy short aimed at film festivals and VOD entitled "Bonnie Pureheart and the Golden Ghost." (See logline, synopsis and spec script on my Stage 32 page.) We've got a nearly complete package and plan to begin shooting in a couple of weeks. So far, I'm paying for it out of my adjunct college professor's salary and could use some help on the financing side of things. If interested, please contact me via email at cgmasi@cgmasi.com
What type of stories is Velocity interested in?
