Your Stage : Paying tribute to the Star Wars sound ...yet remaining original. by Sean Adam Cody

Hey guys, I am working with a group of filmmakers who seek to do Star Wars in a different way. Star Wars: The Recompense is a neo noir film, which takes place between Star Wars episodes IV and V. Please do stop by the campaign and check out the work that has been put into the film thus far. kck.st/1cfx8OY This is a short 1:25 piece I did for the campaigns promo trailer. Also, visit the campaign page because I did a longer mock up for the film based on the script and concept art. Both are early mock up material for promo purposes so the overall score will be enhanced as the project develops. As a composer Star Wars will forever be apart of the magic and beauty behind music in storytelling. The filmmakers vision on this project is to keep the classic Star Wars aesthetic but move into a neo noir direction. The feel of the film will resemble movies such as Bladerunner (1982) and The Maltese Falcon (1941). The filmmakers want the score to follow the same aesthetic with a balance between a classic Star Wars sound and my own vision. This project proves to be particularity challenging and fun which is why Id like to share it with you all :).
