Are there any websites that offer "grab bags" of an assortment new/old plays? I want to read more plays, but I don't want to stick to one playwright, or genre.
Well, I mean more of like a grab bag, where you get an assortment of plays, but don't know what you're getting as like a way of introducing you to new plays. A lot of libraries and used book stores have a lot of the same material. I want an assortment of old and new.
I have never heard of such thing so then I can't help you. still don't understand the problem with the library or used bookstore. that's where I get all kinds of plays. not a blind selection but just pick some playwrights you have never heard of. if you don't like my suggestions just say ok thank you. no need to shoot it down when you're the one who asked
Daniel, that's a great idea. Something like Birchbox (where you get a sampling of grooming products each month), but with plays. If there were such a website, would you want a monthly subscription (where you get a new grab bag each month for a year or however long you subscribe), or just a one-off? And what would you expect to pay for how many plays? This is probably something we could create if you're interested.
Daniel, how many plays (how many old, how many new) would you want in each grab bag? And what would you expect to pay? I think I'll do some research into the feasibility of this idea.

I wasn't shooting you down? I was explaining what I was asking since you clearly didn't get it from your first sarcastic comment.

I would definitely be interested in subscribing to something like this! I'm shocked there isn't something already out there like this!
