Introduce Yourself : Screenwriter/Scribe by Michele MacDonald

Hi all, I was a banker/financial tech writer in my past life. It took a layoff back a few years ago to reevaluate career choices. I have always loved the written word. I am cinephile too..noir, Danish noir, Italian films like Cinema Paradiso..magic, simply magic. I was inspired to attempt to do a remake of 'A Place in the Sun'. But this time, set it in 1906, when it took place. It had been based on a true story. I did copious research and the script is about a third done. I cut my teeth on that first script. Since then, I've penned a political thriller 'The Invaders' and co-authored 'Ambrosia Falls', a psychological thriller. I have tried screenwriting contest route-it's all a learning experience. It's all good.
