Current Member - Many Changes!

Wow, have things totally changed for me since joining Stage 32. When I first joined I was an author and comic book writer looking to transition into television and film screenwriting. I've learned how different things are in the screenplay world thanks to the amazing next level webinars and online classes. I've pitched to hollywood executives at major companies thanks to Joey's Happy Writers program - something I never imagined myself doing. I've joined forces with a fellow Stage32 and very good friend Dr. Scott Viguie as an executive VP for his company, Brazen Wench Productions. I'm in charge of new media, film and television production. Its thrilling because I'm passionate about his projects, I get to develop my own and we're also doing what should have been done a long time ago, bringing his NY Times Best Seller wife Debbie's work to the visual medium. Plus, I get to seek out new talent and voices in the industry. Its a lot of hard work of course but its tremendously exciting to be part of something in its infancy and watching it all begin to come together. We know who we want to be as a company. We're genre fiction - Sci-Fi, Mysteries, Action/Adventure, Horror, and Fantasy (maybe even Westerns). We're also focusing on STEM outreach trying to provide "Edutainment" by teaching folks through our stories. We have four main projects we're developing right now for television (or TV Movies). Doctor Geek is a comedic sci-fi show about a Doctor and his team dedicated to find out why we don't have a flying car, bio-printing, privateering of space and what not. The investigation of these things leads to all sorts of hijinks (many that parody existing Sci-Fi tropes and shows) but we learn from the engineers and people who are actually out there trying to create these things - like Space X - so we can learn where we are with these innovations. A spoon full of sugar approach if you will. Same thing with our time travel show Continuum Force. While the premise is Stargate meets Doctor Who, we aim to be as historically accurate as possible and teach our audience a little bit about history. The Psalm 23 Mysteries (based on Debbie's crazy popular novels) has a religious diversity element to it. Tex Ravencroft, an Indiana Jones-esque action/adventure, uses real archaeology (the author of the book series is an archaeologist). What we're looking for are experienced producers and/or show runners to work with us to develop these projects. Anywho, like I said, many changes but its been an exciting, wonderful relationship with Stage32. Please reach out! I love meeting new people in the business!

That's awesome Jason. If you ever need help with the distribution of your films, I have distribution agreements and a commitment to place films with several major retailers. I'm currently screening films to place in our 2016 sales slots. Please go to http://blackwolfmediagroup.com and select "Film Submissions" under Quick Links, provide the requested information about your film, and we'll screen it and contact you to discuss options going forward.

Thanks Kathryn! Stage32 has been a huge resource. Love you guys! I'm hoping to set up a Stage32 meet up for the Central Florida area soon. Not sure how many Stage32ers we have in that region but I think it would be fun for everyone to meet. Ash, who doesn't need help with distribution? (well...I guess the big boys don't). Thanks for reaching out!
