No I'm not an ex-Python but in ways take the same innovative approach to storytelling as the great Terry Gilliam. I'm the kind of producer/visionary that pays attention to where the industry is MOVING TOWARDS rather than where its been. As storytellers we need the audience and today, they're mobile and consume content when, how and where they choose. By engaging them in stories and characters they connect with while in some cases allowing them to participate we capture them on the devices of their choice. THIS is what's happening more and more today and soon, will be how ALL content is developed. Interested in joining the the wagon train to the Digital Wild West?
Hey Jonathan, love your forward thinking attitude. I checked out your profile and noticed you're pretty active on the site - that's awesome and exactly the right impression to be making on the community. All the best to you!
Thanks Shannon... much appreciated. Most in this community with few exceptions walk to a different beat, which is fine by me :) We're going to rock something new and innovative 'with a little help from my friends'..
Hi Jonathan - it's a pleasure to meet you. I'm a storyteller too - both an historian and a voiceover talent. You caught my eye, since I'm working on a project about the Barlow Road of the Oregon Trail system. Be well and have a great week!
Erica.. thanks.. you might want to take a look at Transmedia approaches where many lately have been in the documentary arena.. In particular I would suggest the "Do Not Track" project.. amazing stuff being done and our project, [N]tangled, am sure will break new ground while engaging a large millennial audience.
I will - thank you for the suggestion!
