I am pretty much an idiot with a camera and a dream with no discernible talents. I have held a boom pole for hours, sat in a corner monitoring audio all day, ridden in the bed of a pickup truck holding a cameraman by his belt and trying to pull focus as we rode down the road, and helped with several auditions, all for other filmmakers. Weekly, I shoot a YouTube show that runs on the Florida Independent Filmmakers YouTube channel. The show is 5 Minutes For Filmmakers. It is an attempt to be a quick review of articles or videos found on the web , or local events and productions, that might be of interest to filmmakers, actors, screenwriters or anyone in the business. It can be seen at: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR4jNwopYPjGOhpEuJQ_9Psv1OZvpnqvL If you see anything on the web that you think is a good story to share, let me know and I will Include it in the show. If you have anything going on in the Central Florida area, I am always happy to help out. You can always use one more set of hands carrying all of that stuff from the car to the set. Mike
Thanks Kathryn, but I do not consider myself as having acquired any true talent, YET. :-)
Sounds like some of the stuff I've done on set too.
