"Believe in the Magic of Your Dreams"

Hi, I am Diane from Casa Grande, Arizona. I am the author and screenwriter of the project: "Believe in the Magic of Your Dreams" Our Founder/CEO of stage 32, Richard (RB) Botto has asked us so often to start new discussions in the lounge and introduce ourselves on weekends. I guess it is time for me to get out of my shell, and maybe help someone else by explaining, to you some of the things I did. The other day, (Jayne) one of my colleagues asked me: Diane, where did you get your inspiration? How did you develop your characters to fit in your storyline? What kept you going day to day to a finished project? A lot of it comes from my imagination, my dreams, and the child that lives inside of all of us. We lose that magic as we grow older, but it is something we would all like to recapture! You are here in the lounge; you are creative and passionate about your craft. You are looking for that special something that will help you keep going, the drive, imagination, magic and the dream to see it on the big screen. We learn to use it, to help our dreams, our concept, and brig our characters, to life. Once you develop your characters and storyline, (mine is for animation) you will find they are a part of you. My characters are unique, like Children you love and protect. Each has their own personality. In my scripts, I place them in situations that are sometimes cute, happy, funny, difficult or frightening. I give them power, guidance, and confidence to grow. I show them they are important and to believe in themselves. To find the magic within, this is when you will want to help them find a resolution. This is what gives you the drive to keep going and develop your script day after day. Give your characters a problem, solve it then meet the next challenge or funny circumstances on the following pages. My inspiration comes from the majestic mountain I live under, which sets the location for most of my children's books, my scripts and a million ideas. I cluster and storyboard all of my ideas and thoughts to formulate later. My power comes from within me, and from my dreams, because there is always some kind of magic at play. Therefore, I named my project "Believe in the Magic of Your Dreams." Stage 32 has countless webinars and classes available to anyone and it is always great if you can take advantage of what fits into your line of expertise. I took a few webinars myself and found them very helpful. When you are a writer you're always learning new techniques to help you hone your craft. The wonderful Stage32, staff, (RB), Joey Tucco, with "Happy Writers" are always so encouraging, and will work you on all levels. To all of you amazing and remarkably talented creative members ( new or established) in our community, whatever endeavors and project you are working on, I wish you the best of success and luck in your future. Never give up...keep connecting and helping one another and remember to always "Believe in the Magic of Your Dreams" Stage32, "RB", Joey and staff, thank you for all of your hard work to make this site possible and letting our voices be heard.

That was beautiful Diane! I love your quote, It sounds like Eleanor Roosevelt who said Believe in the beauty of your dreams. ( I like the word magic better) My genre is animation also and I feel like having an inner child forever is the secret to joy. I am sure I will continue to be inspired by your work! Thank you and welcome!
