Hello, everyone! My name is Roderick Gunsell, the Owner & Creative Director at House of Roderick Jewelry Company here in New York City. So far, I love Stage 32 & am beginning to meet lots of creative & inspiring people here. But, I feel like I'm the newest of the newbies here... trying to find the next threshold of my life in the theater and film industry. Having been the 3 generation in the jewelry business, and creating many costume ideas from everything to runway to leading beauty pageants; I have felt recently it's time to embark in following my heart to work in small & big films offering up my unique vision, superb style sense & unforgettable works. I hope those of you reading this, will aid in showing me the way and allowing me to help make your projects, unforgettable! Here is what I'm seeking: film & stage projects to get my feet wet ( where stunning wardrobe & jewelry are very pronounced and extremely important to the look of the show). Please welcome me anytime by stopping by and saying "hi " and asking questions. Everyone is welcome! Thank you, guys!

Hey Roderick, so great you're following your passion! I would look through the JOBS board here - that's where people post when they're hiring or in need of special skills for their films. I would also make yourself known in the costume design lounge - seems like you have a wealth of information to share with the community that they could really benefit from :)

I totally agree with Shannon. Think outside the box. Every skill set u have can find an home on thr movie set. Challenege yourself. Do a play or two to refine your skill. Much success in your journey.
Thank you, guys! For taking a minute to say Hi & give helpful feed back!
