And, since I know this not work as a reason unto itself, consider the following two things -- illegal copies often come with malware that might slag your entire system, or if they are legal somewhere, and you are trying to run a fraudulent duplicate without paying, it will "run home to Mama" screaming it has been stolen and refuse to save your info, or lock itself, or simply wipe itself from your system. Scare stories about enforcing ethics aside, give Celtx a look. It is free, saves in PDF and RTF format, and the only thing it is missing is an internal spellcheck. This can be remedied by making two copies of your script by a simple cut-and-paste, put one copy in Word, spell-checking there, and bouncing back to the original script in Celtx to honorably fix what needs to be done. Sorry Final Draft is so expensive, but they are industry standard for a reason, and deserve to be paid when writers can afford it. Until then, Celtx.
