“ The Island Between Our Love” is a love story meandered in the historical challenges of the Dominican Republic and Haiti divides. This story is sure to contest our prejudices and actuates us to confront our fears of one another. I have teamed up with the very talented Brunir Olivier Shackleton who is an excellent writer with an unparalleled imagination. Our work thus far has proven so fruitful that we find it hard to contain our excitement. We plan on starting production sometime in July 2015. Therefore we hope to reach our goal by the end of July so that we can start production in August. You know very well the challenges that beset us as independent filmmakers.
