I divorced print last year after a 40-year marriage. Newspaper reporting, magazine feature writing, news service editing, teaching college writing courses. Boy was that messy. Tears and recriminations, accusations and regrets. The whole nine yards. It's all about screenplays now -- me, the guy who always had his nose in a book. I know: the irony.
