Hi everyone, I'm impressed with all of you. So many awesome creative people here. I'm currently working on my debut novel's release preparation and editing my second novel that will be released in November by the same publisher. Both are coming-of-age female empowerment type stories--one historical (1930s/40s) and the other fantasy (set beneath a Hollywood hotel). Other than that, just shopping around my scripts with my publicist and enjoying life. I have one short in post production and taking on script consulting clients as well (beginners are my main area). Hi Allison! I look forward to reading the coming-of-age novel. I give kudos to anyone that does historical pieces. I think the best way to go through this process is just the way you said it -- "shopping around my scripts with my publicist and enjoying life." That last part is crucial. It will come. As it's supposed to, when it's supposed to, it will come. I have to remind myself of that now and again -- but life is good and we are blessed. Nice to be connected with you. :)
