Hi, here's an update

Hi, Elaine, Writer-Illustrator-Director-Weaver-Macrame Artist (Oh my, what a mouthful) from Chicago. This is just a quick update on where I am, work-wise: Currently working on finishing up my contribution to this year's Earth Dream: A Comic Anthology. My piece is entitled, Old Dogs and its an "AI's tun against their masters" story with a twist. As for the ATCON graphic novel, it is on hold until Old Dogs is done. Once I'm finished with that, I will go back to work on that AND updating the film script I'm adapting the story from. Once those two projects are put to bed, I will be starting on animating a short story called Grey Day which is a little tale about life is a matter of how you view it. Following that, I'll be starting work on a miniseries called Chronicle. I'm also looking for representation-Anyone know of any great agents who'd be willing to take on an AFI Grad who specializes in SciFi/Fantasy/Horror?

Hi Elaine, I just had to say hi from Downunder (NZ) as I so loved your self-description! Welcome to Stage 32, I am sure you will find this place very nurturing. I'm a scriptwriter (currently also turning my hand to directing stop-motion animation) and I pop on here often. Lovely to meet you electronically. Bridget

I'll be doing animation using either Motion Artist from Smith Micro/traditional 2D work. I've long loved SM animation-Maybe we can trade info sometime. Anyhoo, how's life in filmmaking in NZ?

Bridget Ellis-Pegler

That would be cool. Life in filmmaking in NZ is brilliant thanks. Not always easy by any means, and the last couple of years have been pretty tight for most people I know in the industry but it really seems things have turned a corner now and there are lots of great things happening.
