I've always loved reading, especially mystery novels. For a while, though, I couldn't find a book that really caught my attention... until I read Gillian Flynn's books. I started with "Gone Girl" and was immediately obsessed, so I moved on to her other two books, " Sharp Objects" and "Dark Places." I gotta say, she really knows how to drag you into the stories! "Dark Places" was my favorite of the three; it kept me on my toes the whole time. It's the type of story that is easy to envision as you read it. Flynn also manages to get your so into the characters, that you'll grow to love then or hate them almost at if they were real people. No book had done that for me since I read Dan Brown's stories. The film is coming out soon and I'm excited about Chloe Grace Moretz playing Diondra, but not so sure I envisioned Charlize Theron as Libby... I'm excited to see what her interpretation of the character is, but in my mind I saw someone like Kristen Stewart or Kat Dennings. Did anyone read the book and agree?
I agree, completely. Charlize Theron looks nothing like the character was described, but then again -- she was great in Monster, and was able to transform completely.
That's true! Hopefully it'll be as great as the book!
