On Writing : Festivals by Tim Prescott

Hi I'm trying to promote my writing and struggling to make connections, like many. However one area that I've had some success in is festival and fringe events, luckily for me I also perform and have been able to get people together and have performed in four festivals. This hasn't made me a success but it did get my work in front if the public, it helped me re write dialogue to make it more actor friendly, it pressure tested my stuff in front of an audience and it gave me deadlines. All round a valuable experience and if you're a bit stuck in a writing rut, one worth giving a go
