Hello everyone! Director/Screenwriter I am a 22 years old film student(movie directing to be precise) from Romania. It's a small country on the N-E side of Europe. I'm studying movie directing at the National University of Theater and Film "I.L. Caragiale" Bucharest. After a brief encounter with the University of Law from Bucharest(I studied 1 year before i quit) I decided to pursue my dream. I love creating( Barton Fink said it better, ha ha) and visioning worlds, people, places, and I thought why not pursue a career as a filmmaker. I have written and directed several short films over the course of 2 years and I won't stop. I am currently working on a 14 minute dark comedy which I'm planing to shoot by September. I love what I do, and although I'm just a student I consider film making a job and a way of life. I pour blood, sweat tears(and lots of caffeine) in all my work. I may be a little guy but I am willing to prove anyone wrong. One of my short films was accepted and is currently competing in the "Depth of Field International Film Festival" and in the "Accolade Global Film Competition"( I'm waiting more responses from other festivals too). I love this community so much and I'm willing to help put anyone who is in need of a director or screenwriter. Just give me a try:D Hope to hear from you soon!:D

Welcome aboard Serban! You are in a part of the world with a crazy amount of history! I read that in Bucharest they have uncovered what they think is on of Vladimir Dracula's castles. (that was a few years back) Glad to see you working toward your dreams!
Serban, I also "...love creating, and visioning worlds, people, places." And I don't agree that Barton Fink said it better. You said it just right. Joel Coen has written some amazing screenplays during his 30-year career. I hope you have seen more than Barton Fink (1991).

Words like that is sets my passion on fire!!!!! Sorry, I get like that. But I do share the same ambitions as you, Serban. And I am also 22. It feels really good follow what lies in the heart and It is great to know that someone did the same. I wish your filmmaking career all the best and may we both make a big impact in the film industry.
