Hi fellow filmmakers - DoP looking to collaborate

Hi film and tv people! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Sam Gordon, and I'm a freelance Director of Photography and Camera Operator based in London. For the last 2 years I've been working for a company in New York City, but have now returned to the UK. I am the sole owner of a full set of professional equipment, including RED Scarlet digital cinema camera a Sony A7s, a Canon 60D, a DJI Ronin Stabiliser, Glidecam X20 and a full set of professional lenses. For the last 2 years I have worked in New York City, and specialised in promotional films for the high-end real estate market, including extensive aerial cinematography over New York and other North American cities. I am a consummate professional, an unapologetic camera nerd, a teacher and mentor, and an artist and storyteller first and foremost. I would love to meet with fellow industry professionals, other DoP's, Camera Assistants, Gaffers, Directors and Producers, with the hope of collaborating on some interesting, fun, creative or just well paid projects! Please get in touch!

I have some friends that are going to do a western, they are looking for Reds or Ursa cams with operators. You set your rate, but you don't get paid till the film gets a deal or goes up on 20 VOD platforms and you get FIRST MONEY back. If you want details..email me.

Thanks Bruce, that sounds interesting, although I have to admit I'm always a little suspicious of projects which offer hypothetical payment on the back of hypothetical profits. It suggests that other funding channels have not been fully explored. It's also a strategy which is unlikely to attract the best talent. However I always try to keep an open mind.

I understand, most of the lead cast is in place. It's not really hypothetical, it WILL go up on VOD etc. We may come up with enough money on crowd funding to not even need it done this way..time will tell, if you want more info, I can send it to you. Let me know.
