Acting : Theatre Acting by Richard Torres

I am looking for some theatres in the nyc area where I can find acting work. I know most of them are by season but I figure I miss performing on stage as an actor as I mainly have worked on films. Most of my work on stage is as a magician and I would love to do some straight character roles on the stage. If anyone can give some recommendations that would be awesome! i already did a google search and made a small list. Just thought maybe I could get some tips from you awesome thespians !
