Introduce Yourself : From time to time by Dmitry Ivanenko

From time to time

Greetings, my friend! Hello dear connoisseur of symphonic music! Music is a language which is understood by people from different countries. And I’m glad that I can communicate in this language with the world! I recently started to upload to the site my writings. And I will try to regularly upload new works. At the moment I upload the some parts from Dali-suites, which are written for Salvador Dali paintings. I also plan to upload other works. Happy listening!

As a huge fan of Dali (I've visited the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL twice!) and as a lover of music, I love this post. 20 years ago, I wanted to write a book about a flawed hero who creates a Language of Music to communicate via emotions... what he can't say - verbally... such as to woo the one woman who he truly wants to fall into True Love.

Brian, Great idea about a flawed hero who creates a Language of Music to communicate via emotions! I hope you will return to this idea again.

Thanks Dmitry... I first communicated the idea when I was a satellite antenna engineer in 1992... while at a nice restaurant in Manhattan Beach, CA... with a friend who had me read my first screenplay - his. He's now my drumstick sponsor - HornetsDrumsticks.com out of Portland, Oregon. So the idea has definitely been percolating for well over 2 decades. Back then, I knew I wasn't mature enough to write it - Well. Now, I'm working on a textbook for students who want to become engineers... in other words, what to expect out of life as an engineer.... since I was an adjunct professor of engineering last term.
