Introduce Yourself : Also new in AZ by Candra Adams

Hello, I'm Candra, Owner of Tootsie's Infinite Prod's. (named after my little chi!). Right now I'm in Carefree, AZ but hope to get out to CA again soon. I'm from Scottsdale and it's interesting to see so many AZ people on board here. I have a writing partner who I collaborate with on some projects. We are excited that we just got hired by a wealthy bus. man to turn his idea into a script and help launch him into being a producer. We have another script completed that has gotten interest from a well known actor should we get the funding. A treatment for a series with a commitment to play one of the leads from an amazing and well known actor should we get that going. Nice, but frustrating. I've completed a script for a short, and am completing a children's fairytale with an accompanying screenplay. I am going to focus on studying directing next. I was in one movie and directed the scene I was in when the director couldn't figure out how to make it work (no, he didn't mind he was my boyfriend at the time) and I used to do the same when I was in plays. So I've acted as well and am a member of SAG and AFTRA, but no longer in good standing. I look forward to learning, sharing and interacting.
