Sunset at Ironwater Flats.

Hello, I spent 15 years as a stuntman, 12 years at Old Tucson Studios and the remaining of my life behind the camera. I became a Location Manager, Production Manager, Assistant Director, Casting Director, etc. You can check me out at www.imdb.com/name/nm0949636. I spent over 65 years in the film industry. I love being a stuntman and worked on some huge movies with the likes of John Wayne, Richard Widmark, Jimmie Stewart, Clark Gable, James Cagney, to name a few. I tried my hand at writing a western movie script because I had worked on so many I figured I knew what it would take. My writer friend, Philip Sedgewick told me about this site so here I am.

Here is the logline for my movie Sunset at Ironwater Flats. Sunset at Ironwater Flats Genre: Western/Drama/Action Logline: Revenge is not for the weak – but it is deadly. Synopsis: Nick Proctor is bent on revenge after the brutal murder of his father, Sam, and the rape and murder of his fiancé. Nick will settle for nothing short of vengeance as he seeks out those he suspect’s of his father’s murder. No one will help. No one wants to get in the way of killers and an outmanned youngster trying to find justice. So Nick goes alone. Sheriff Frank Carter has long suspected Nick’s father was killed in cold blood, but he could not make an arrest without any proof. Frank’s plea to Nick to not take the law into his own hands goes unheeded. Nick likes Frank but he can’t let Frank’s sense of law and order get in the way of the justice his father deserves. The young man turns his back on the law, preferring his own brand of righteousness. He is determined to stalk each of the killers until real justice is served. One by one, Nick tracks down the killers of his father, plotting revenge as only a driven man is able. The problem for Nick is that he sees himself becoming as much a cold-blooded killer as those on which he exacts vengeance. One by one, he systematically executes those who had a hand in his father’s murder. Nick has to decide if there has been enough killing, or else finish the job he feels compelled to accomplish. He knows he can kill them all, but it may cost him his own soul. Written by Jack N. Young WGAw: # 1619453

Hey Everyone, Jack is a bud of mine. He's absolutely amazing! Great tales to tell from iconic movies. He did stunts for the Duke and Gable where he got his butt dragged across the desert during the Misfits. And oh my, what happened at the Alamo? His stories are fantastic. In Ironwater Flats he has a fight sequence that is one of the best fight scenes I've ever read. Leave it to a stuntman, right?

Thanks, Philip. You are truly a good friend for pointing me in this direction.
