Screenplays looking for good homes

Hello friends and fellow dreamers. My name is Mark Robyn and I am a screenwriter in Tacoma, Washington. I am also a short story writer and children's book writer. I have three completed scripts looking for homes, and many more in the works. Of my three completed scripts, one is a romantic comedy, one a sci-fi horror movie and the third is a superhero buddy comedy. I hope to get to know and learn from all of you, and I hope I can somehow help others grow and obtain their dreams as well.

Now that they're registered and copyrighted, work on your pitch, first and foremost. Your pitch will be the key to opening doors to agents, managers and producers. Google sites that specialize in perfecting your pitch, your logline and query letter. Sign up for pitch sessions here on 'Happy Writers', 'Virtual Pitchfest' and others to hone your presentation with actual buyers and reps. You can gain valuable feedback this way. Research potential buyers for what they are seeking and the genres they specialize in... personalize your pitch for each, and present the package that best fits into what they are looking for... Good luck and keep writing. One more thing, don't present yourself as a fortune teller, on how much money your project is going to generate or how much they are going to love your script. Let them come to that realization on their own. Check out Stephanie Palmer's site - "good in a room" for informative interviews and articles on pitching. It's time to turn your dream into a reality - and the reality is a business.
