Hi all, I thought I had done this but I think those gremlins in the clouds had other thoughts. I'm a London based actress who also sings-I'm a female tenor (seriously), so conventional musical theatre roles are hard to find. I trained in the 1970s but had a 15 year break looking after elderly parents & in-laws. I returned in 2013 & feel as if I'm starting all over again & completely out of the loop. I'm lucky to be represented by a great agent &, being a 'life-long learner', I go to workshops & classes to make sure my skills are the best they can be. My experiences during my break have led to me writing material, some that has been performed, but it's still developing. I am also a qualified voice & acting teacher &, with my husband, photograph landscapes & theatre productions. Yes, a lot of strings to my bow, but I am 57 & believe in making the most of life. I'm looking forward to connecting with others-is that the right word? You see, age can be a problem!
Great to hear from you Kaitlin! Fantastic attitude towards life! Keep an eye on the lounge posts for anything you may find of help.
