Good afternoon Stage 32. How does one introduce oneself without either coming off as pretentious and or stupid and egomaniacal? Not sure so here goes... I am Jeff, I am 52 with a great deal of experience in and out of the entertainment industry-my personal bio and resume only covers just so much. I started way back in elementary school with acting through high school. I got interested in film because I am a film junkie - Planet of the Apes at 4 1/2 years old made me want to be a chimp for years. Professional acting credits I have none (as of 9/18/15) but I appeared on Win Ben Stein's Money as a contestant and got through the first round but didn't make it to the prize round. I am not sure if copyright laws prevent me from posting the video on here or not. But I wouldn't say it if it didn't happen. I write comedy, drama, and other materials. I am looking for an agent for my writing. Rather than repeat my resume, I'll say this, I love movies, music, writing, photography, graphic design and moviemaking. I can act due to the fact that my NYU Student films (83-86) and New York Film Academy (2010), I had to act most of the parts in. I can direct because having been an actor I know how to communicate to actors, one of my few A's in college was in acting class with Stanislavsky method and I love it. I am a method writer, most of my characters I write, I perform in my head as I write. I love the process. I also have stage plays that would be great to produce on the cheap too. Let's talk...

A perfect post, and not egotistical at all. The whole purpose of this section, and Introduce Yourself Weekend in general, is to not only let the community know a little about who you are, where you've been and where you're hoping to go, but also to allow the other half million people in the community the chance to see if there's an opportunity to connect or collaborate in a mutual beneficial way. The only way to make that happen is to list our accomplishments and our desires. And you did so beautifully, Jeff. And with a Les Mis reference to boot, which takes it up another notch in my book. Great to have you in the community, my friend!
