Looking to work with a great producer who has no money

Hi Everyone, I'm Mark Cabaroy, I've been on Stage 32 since 2012 and have met and worked with some really great people, but the one person I haven't met and worked with yet is a great producer and I know there has got to be many of them on this website. You see most people are looking for a producer because they think that the producer will have money or be able to help them raise money, but I've come to believe this isn't true or even necessary. A Great Producer, produces and can do so with little or no money. They can do this because they network and they know people and who ever they don't know they learn how to meet . They can get goods and services often for nothing or for very little, sometimes this involves bartering but many times people will work for them for nothing because they want to be associated with them or the particular production they're involved with at the time. I know this for a fact because I've seen it happen many times with every facet of making a film. I think I'm a great filmmaker, I can write, direct, shoot, edit and yes produce, I've been doing this for longer than some of you who are reading this have been alive. I feel I now have a decent body of work and so I'm looking for a great producer to help me get to the next level of my craft. If you think this is you please feel free to contact me. Here's an sample of my most recent work https://youtu.be/L6KJ3V0Jedw?list=PLGKcfEFaKatGGn6joF2U-S4zOxQcoSJjk If you want to see other examples just google me you'll find I have films, interviews and articles written about on many websites. I look forward to hearing from some of you, especially the ones of you whom are great producers. Thanks Mark Cabaroy http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0136242/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

Thanks Shawn and Richard I appreciate the encouragement and Richard if I might be so bold you could help by featuring my post under one of you blog notifications that we get in email updates. Who knows if I connect with the right people and it could turn in another success story for the site.

Hey Mark. For obvious reasons, mainly since we have 500,000 creatives on the site all with something to promote, I do not put personal projects in my Weekend Blog. It's up to you to network and make those connections that can make a difference in your career. What you can do, however, is make one promotional post in the My Stage section of the Lounge. Hope that helps.

You can't buy character.
