Hello all, I'm trying to get some feedback from other writers on a new pilot script but I'm hesitant to arbitrarily upload the script. Anybody out there willing to read through and provide some feedback? Thank you all in advance.
I'm scratching my head on what it means to "arbitrarily" upload a script. Traditionally, if your story has problems, you can see it in the first ten pages, so I'd go ahead and purposefully upload those and I'll take a look at them.
Preston, Sorry for the confusion. What I mean to say is that I just don't feel comfortable about upload a script directly to a website. I would prefer to send it directly to someone via email. However, I do appreciate the response. Thanks
Well, again, if you upload the first few pages to your profile, I'll take a look at it. If you're curious, my entire script in on my profile and you're more than welcome to look at it, provide feedback, call it names, praise it, or print it out and set it on fire. However it moves you.
Joe. I don't post scripts online until the Library of Congress has heard about it. Copyrighting a piece of work protects against plagiarism and costs $35, much less than an attorney. If you'd be interested in swapping scripts, I'd be happy to take a look at yours in return for a critique of mine.
