Hello all! So glad to be part of this wonderful community! My name is Beverly Tan and I'm a filmmaker currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina. I recently graduated with my film degree and work at Uptone Pictures in Wake Forest. My career goal is to be a producer, but I have experience in many departments and I simply love making movies more than anything in my life. When I was 7 years old I said "When I grow up, I'm going to tell stories" and here I am! Between junior and senior year of college, I pulled together some friends and made a short film called "The Last Line" on a $500 budget with the love and support of the community. It just premiered at FilmSpark 2015, official selection. It's hopefully going to continue this festival season at other film festivals. This is all because one day I woke up and said "I think I'll make a movie this summer" and I did. Let's get connected and be friends!
