Hello. Right now I'm mainly an actor and writer though I also plan on getting into directing and I would love to get into voice acting. However, not really sure how to begin. Got any tips? Thanks. Stage32 seems like a great place. Hope to become more involved as I'm currently writing a few shorts and hope to find a producer and director to collaborate with. But I'm also very interested in voice acting and acting in general, having done a couple of plays at the community theater level.
HI Stephen - first thing to do is get a VO coach. They will help you get started understanding the ins and outs of the VO business. Lots available on-line. I've worked with coaches in Minnesota, LA and Colorado. All were good and gave me a good base. Currently working with a coach in LA. Good luck!
