I´d like to share this information about co-production between Eastern Europe and Spain, Portugal and Latin America. To all interested: as you know, to be elegible for co-production between countries you must have services, locations or actors from both countries. When East Meets West (January 24/26, 2016) will select 20 outstanding projects in development from Eastern Europe*, Italy and – only for the 2016 edition – Spain, Portugal and Latin America and will present them to a panel of over 300 producers, financiers and decision makers from more than 30 countries. ELIGIBLE PROJECTS WEMW will select long feature fiction films and documentaries: • from Spain, Portugal and Latin America (preferably with a connection either with Italy or Eastern Europe) • from Eastern Europe (preferably with a connection either with Italy or the 2016 spotlight countries) • Italy (preferably with a connection either with Eastern Europe or one of the 2016 spotlight countries) SUBMISSION All applications must include: complete online application form, treatment in English (max 8 pages), financing plan, teaser of the submitted project or previous works of the director.
