Hello, my name is Jonathan Brunson. I am an upcoming entertainer and filmmaker gearing up for a casting call of my current project, "Darren'S BOUT" Written and will be Directed by me!!! It tells the story of a man on the rise and no matter how high you reach, there's always a price. Though I have a character BD, I am looking for EVERYONE, of ALL backgrounds, that can TRULY bring this project to life, to show me and my team that you ARE FOR THIS!!! I am working with a wonderful team, as well as a great Production Company from Chicago, that will be present for this casting call. NOTE: The casting process will be done in November, 2 consecutive weekends. Production for this film has begun, but WILL NOT become a full Production until Summer 2016 (May thru early July) SERIOUS INSPIRE ONLY please. Darren'S BOUT Character BD Darren Brisco: Early 30's, African-American, average build, medium tone, hard, funny, caring, leader on the mic: Think Calvin from House of Payne, Shemar Moore type with a Charlemagne the God personality Jared: Mid 20's, Caucasian, baby face to shadow look, open, brash, sexist, good-looking but doesn't know his place. A bit privileged but wants to "be down" Think Justin Timberlake, Chris Pine type who thinks he's hood Zelda/Jessica: Mid 20's Fit, pretty not beautiful, one dark hair / one short, similar facial features, intriguing eyes, can be sexy and crazy in seconds. Shows they can be masterminds Think Jennifer Lawrence, Jodi Lynn O' Keefe, Elisha Cuthbert types Gearld: Early-Mid 60's, salt pepper hair, somewhat tall, harder shelled, Military minded with an alcohol problem Patricia: Late 60's, shorter, average to slight heavier build, short hair, iron fist ruling, soft spoken Think Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer types slightly heavier Younger Darren: Mid teens, rough around Gerald, loving to mother, isolated, fighter, similar to Darren, can be a darker toned Officer Strahan: Ryan Hurst type, taller, authority figure. Caring, strong, the voice to set things in motion Synopsis: Darren Brisco, a hot radio DJ seems to know his way around the mic, the women, and the road to success. That is until, Zelda, a beautiful intern with a hunger for knowledge, knows something Darren doesn't know. And with a drive to reach the top, No matter what, things are about to get personal.
