Cat Day Animated Short for Kids!

Hey gang, my name is David; I run an animation production company out of Florida and have been producing visual effects for films and games for the past decade. Lately we've been making a popular kid's series on YouTube about pets called Ray & Clovis. It's a throwback to classic Bugs Bunny cartoons with the wit of Monty Python. National Cat Day is today and we wanted to do something special. We created a short film that teaches facts about cats, promotes the well being of cats, and encourage folks to pick up cats from shelters. Plus, it's funny as hell. Do you have a minute? You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAL8Kx4hXQU I’d love to know what you think! Thanks everyone :)

David... I love this. You're preaching to the choir here. We have two phenomenal black shelter cats working as muses. Suggestion: Erin Christensen, chief meteorologist at KGUN9 in Tucson, does very active work with the local pet shelters. Maybe send to her? weather@kgun9.com.

Hey Philip! Thanks for the wonderful comments. I just emailed her. I hope she'll enjoy it!

This has made my day, "for kids?" LOL, I will be tuning in to these cat cartoons. I thought I knew everything about cats, regularly visiting shelters and mountain colonies of larger cats, but tonight I've learned something new. "Crepuscular" is a new term to me, for when they most active.

David Andrade

Haha, thanks Debbie :) I'm glad you enjoyed it :D!

@Daviid. Fabulous! Didn't see it at 10 PM last night, but will look again today. Loved the facts, the character reactions. Great stuff. Got my copy of Grumpy Cat's Christmas yesterday... family fun at Thanksgiving.

An update David. Erin was involved in her annual Halloween party on National Cat Day and over the weekend. She used her party as an adopt animals from the local shelters fund-raiser. She raised $20K! Wouldn't hurt to reach out to her again now that things are more or less normal. You could always congratulate her.
