Hello all, French Director working between Paris and New York. Always happy to make new connections, I recently did a shoot in Copenhagen and needed an AC for a 16mm shoot and stage32 saved me, so the more the merrier. I am currently working on a feature documentary about Donald Duck's artist: Don Rosa. Anybody interested in chatting about that is welcomed. From Paris, with love. 16mm I had bolex rx5 ... and just in case u r interested got really good at cinematography, when as u know things changed
I love the Don Rosa (and Carl Barks) duck comics. Fantagraphics has been re-releasing them in hardback over the past couple of years. I buy them immediately when each is released. I'm currently reading "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck".
@Daisy White Interesting name to be interested in Donald Duck! Good luck to you too on your projects!
@Geoffrey Hugh Harford I am now working with an Arri SR3, but the Bolex was something alright! Still have mine somewhere.
@Randy Pugh We are actually taking our inspiration from the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck, an incredible graphic novel and Don Rosa will recreate all 12 portraits while discussing his life and inspirations.
That is very cool. I'm definitely looking forward to updates as your project progresses.
