Greetings All, My name is William-Billiam-Mank hailing you from Chandler, Arizona. Whenever I'm not on set painting with light or finding that exact moment to capture I'm in a kitchen keeping the creative juices flowing. (Not trying to be punny, I swear!) I believe that cooking is an extension of our filmmaking process and the ingredients we choose to use comes down to a simple matter of taste. I have worked on many different camera systems ranging from Film to Digital Cinema and have worked on the different kinds of lights in this industry: L.E.D, Plasma, Tungsten, HMIs, and even the all mighty Carbon Arc. (It was so cool!) I can't wait to continue the career I've had so far and to see where it takes me beyond my own city limits! Cheers!
Hey William!! Welcome to Stage 32! I never thought about the parallels between cooking and filmmaking before, that's really interesting!! How long have you been cooking? What's your favorite style?
I've been cooking for the past ten years, almost eleven. Right now I've been heavily zoning in on italian dishes, more so rustic. I really like playing with color most though when cooking. Sometimes I challenge myself by trying to make a dish with only particular colors to see how it influences the look and style.
