Hi there, I'm Michael O'Donohoe. I'm an aspiring screenwriter living in London-town. I'm currently working on my first spec script. Although my first love is sci-fi and fantasy, I'm also interested in thrillers, historical stuff and drama.
Hi Michael, Welcome to Stage 32 - you're in the right place. If you wanna share some of your loglines you can put them up by clicking "Share" in the main menu. Have you ever considered writing a sci-fi period thriller? Not sure if it's ever been done before... :) Glad to have you here!
Hi Tomasz, Thanks for your reply. I must admit I haven't thought about it, though you've given me something to muse on. Out of interest. What does sharing my loglines do? Is it to attract people interested in developing them?
Hey, Michael! When you post loglines, creatives provide feedback - helping you create a better logline. Here's some loglines I've posted on S32 for review. They all got beat up, but they're all better for it... https://www.stage32.com/profile/185490/scripts_screenplays
Thanks Shawn for the response. I'm not sure if it's a secret or not... :) but we're working on further improvements to the loglines that should be out soon, so there, I'll say that much. :) There are too many talented filmmakers seeking good writers about specific topics but may be unable to find them. We will soon close that gap for everyone, making your Stage 32 experience even more awesome.
Hi Kathleen.... ahhh, yes. I did not think of Dr Who which can definitely fall into the category of a period piece with elements of drama and suspense. Nice one! Not sure what Steampunk is, but I guess I'll find out soon. Cheers, and Happy Holidays.
Ah, I see, I'm familiar with the term. Since you listed it with Dr. Who I was just unsure if it's a TV show or a film I should have seen by now. IMDb wasn't too helpful on that either. :) The synopsis sounds interesting, sort of like Lost meets Haven meets Under the Dome. "Einstein chappie" :)
