Hi I'm an actress/director and now screenwriter. I have a completed horror short and currently writing a love story. I have a lot more up my sleeve!! My horror script is my "baby". I would love to see it come to life. Problem is I don't know the next step. It wouldn't be a no-budget that is for sure!

Hi Kim! Nice to meet you & congrats on the horror script! no small feat, right? if you have a script, next you should try to find someone to budget it for you. I'm sure id you put a notice up here on stage32 you'll find people who can do that. once you have a budget, then you know how much money to raise. I produced/wrote/directed a short and mostly self-financed. and, ... yeah, never again! haha I think the best way to go is Crowdfunding. stage32 has this course coming up. might help: https://www.stage32.com/classes/Advanced-Crowfunding-Masterclass cheers!
