Introduce Yourself : Dallas based filmmakers by Alan Dunkel

Hi, I'm fairly new to Dallas and have written, directed and screened a couple shorts since relocating here from the west coast. The award winning Wildflowers that screened at the Texas Theatre and Kumar and Jen Go to Dinner that screened at both the Texas Theatre and the Granada. I've also had the good fortune to encourage and help several other filmmakers on their way and the community here is really friendly and cooperative. I'm continuing on my local film making quest with some features and must say Dallas is a great place to make a film.
