Top 10 Opening Shots

setting the tone is extremely important and this is a great list to learn from. https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=492&v=PnhZXELUmUs

Great post! Loved them all. One I might add to the list is the opening of True Romance (dare I say nearly my favorite Tarantino film) with it's gritty shots of the Detroit skyline and the incredible music by Hans Zimmer (though actually he stole it nearly outright from Carl Orff's Gassenhauer) It sets the stage so well that even with these smokestack Detroit images you feel romance!

Thanks for the share! Fascinating. Definitely worth the watch; although haven't seen them all.
