"My Father's Keeper" Initial Funding

About me: IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3999581/ My name is Elmer J. Howard and I'm an Actor, Producer, and Director in Film, TV, and Theater whose motto is: "Changing The World One Production at a Time". Entertaining has been my passion since I was a teenager making short films wowing and exciting family and friends. I got my baptism by fire into the entertainment world by landing my first job and first exposure by being a craft services assistant on the Disney film "Flubber" with Robin Williams. After taking a 12 year detour, I returned to filmmaking in 2010 when I got introduced to the independent filmmaking community in Phoenix, starting my production company Thrive Productions, LLC that year as well. I have a passion and a gift for telling stories through a visual medium. Making a positive impact on my audience by getting them to think and challenging their beliefs while entertaining them, fuels my passion. The Story: I'm producing and directing my first feature film titled "My Father's Keeper", the highly emotionally charged story of three generations of fathers & sons: expectations, disappointments, and bitterness, the women that got hurt along the way, and the great wealth whose accumulation created as many problems as it solved. Before we can even go into preproduction, I need to hire a Line Producer and a Lawyer to create the budget and contracts for us to raise the funds for preproduction. I'm offering Reward Levels for donations and if you want to become an investor, please contact me directly. This film is meant to make the audience think about the relationships in their lives and remember what really matters in life and make better choices. My short film "Momma Knows Best... Right? was just picked up for worldwide distribution with Adler & Associates. Our Team: Dr. Kevin IMDB: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm5129676/ Dr. Kevin Ross Emery was born on the 4th of July, and according to him this is what it means to be born on the 4th of July, “I came in with a bang, I will go out with a bang, and I will bang my way all the way through”. By sixth grade he knew that we wanted to be, a writer. He began with poetry and short stories. His poetry began winning him awards at the age of 17 and in 2004 he won a lifetime achievement award. Though he can’t read or write music, he began playing with songs in his late teens and gave his first shot at a Broadway musical. With the bulk of it done, including the script, some songs, and even some choreography, the script and all that went with it got accidentally thrown away and he never had the heart to start over again. By the age of 40 he had several books out, hundreds of poetry pieces, several songs, and published, under the pen name Ross Bartel Buzzel, both fantasy fiction and science fiction books. Since then he has written (and co-written) a TV pilot, a movie script, and a one-woman show stage play that was recently adapted to film. He wrote the song, “Mama Knows Best” for a movie. He has taken his 24 years of helping people professionally and used it to create three dimensional characters with mind bending plot twist, “as life has… sometimes”, he says.
