Anything Goes : Devijver Media FRAUD by David Gwinn

Devijver Media FRAUD

Anyone dealing with De Vijver Media - they are a complete FRAUD. Also, anyone receiving USPS money orders - they will be fake.

Hi David. What was most telling was that the guy (Bart de Pauw) wanted to pay me up front, before the scope of work was defined, before an agreement was reached. I let him string me along by email for a few weeks, then I received those fake (but rather sophisticated) USPS money orders (totaling $2,979) via international mail from the UK. The post office confirmed they were fake. I didn't even bother trying to deposit them. I presume he would have next said that he overpaid me and could I kindly wire back the difference, by which time I would have already been alerted by my bank that the notes were counterfeit and I'd be left high and dry / shit outta luck that "difference." I think that's usually how these scams work. But he dropped the ball and disappeared before I could let him lead me further down the path. After a few thorough searches, I cannot find him anywhere, and his posting seems to have disappeared from Stage 32. I even wonder whether Bart de Pauw of De Vijver is a legit person from a legit company that he's impersonating. I'd love to beat him at his own game, or at least expose him on social media. I can report him to the USPS Inspector General for mail fraud but since he's abroad it might not lead anywhere. Any thoughts?

I was able to file a report with the FBI because he sent me his bank account information. I didn't transfer any money, just wanted the account for the FBI. Figured out they were fake, I had trouble understanding why they were using USPS money orders from England. The name and company are real, they did "The Loft" recently.
