Introduce Yourself : Hello you crazy people :D by Colin MacDougall

What's on my mind, Stage 32 asks... well if we all answered that question we would never get round to introducing ourselves now would we? :p Although I suppose you could argue that introducing yourself IS what's on your mind since you made your way to this section of the site. Hello and welcome to me introducing myself :) As you can see my name is Colin MacDougall. I am an actor based in Glasgow, Scotland and I have been developing my career over the last 2 years now. I have very recently reached my long standing goal of becoming a Spotlight member (see, here is my link: http://www.spotlight.com/0370-3492-1636 ) and now I am making an effort to take my acting to the next level. I have now transitioned to working full time as an actor and it is a time where I am slightly wetting my pants but super excited at the adventure I intend to make for myself. I love this industry we are all a part of and I would very much love to get connected with like-minded individuals and/or groups who share my desire to help make film that educates and provokes people to think, that helps people to escape from the world they are in and to join them in on great adventures that without film or theatre they would only achieve in the solitude of a book or a wonderfully active imagination. Now don't get me wrong books are incredibly important but unless you are reading that book with someone it is very much an individuals pass time. I want to be a part of something that involves people in their hundreds and thousands at a time :) If you feel the same way then feel free to send me a message and say hey! I would love to hear your thoughts and experiences and maybe even work with some of you should the opportunity present itself to us :D But that is enough from me for now so I will love you all and leave you all until the next time.
